Family
Early life
Darshit Goti comes from a humble middle-class family, where life was never easy and every achievement came with sacrifice.
His childhood was filled with struggles, responsibilities, and experiences that shaped the person he would eventually become. He completed Standards 1 to 8 at a government school. Despite his family’s difficult financial circumstances, he consistently stood out in academics. From a very young age, Darshit had made up his mind that he would change his family’s circumstances and build a better life for everyone around him.
His father, Babubhai Goti, also known as Dineshbhai Goti, worked as a diamond broker, while his mother, Hansaben Goti, worked from home doing thread-cutting work to contribute to the family’s income. Hansaben was known for her simple, innocent, and kind-hearted nature. Darshit considers both his parents to be his greatest sources of inspiration. Their simplicity, sacrifices, hard work, and ability to keep moving forward despite difficulties became some of the strongest lessons of his childhood.
Darshit was not the only child in the family. He has an elder sister and a younger brother, making three siblings in total. The family’s circumstances were such that his siblings also had to make sacrifices. They eventually had to discontinue their studies so that the family could manage its responsibilities and, in a way, ensure that at least one child could continue his education.
That child was Darshit.
This became one of the biggest responsibilities he carried silently. He knew that the opportunity he had been given was not simply his own—it represented the sacrifices made by his entire family. He therefore treated education with a seriousness far beyond his age. He had to make their sacrifices worth something.
He completed Standards 9 and 10 at SMC Suman High School No. 2, keeping educational expenses manageable for his family. From Standards 1 through 10, he received his schooling with very little financial burden on the family, but he never treated that opportunity casually. Instead, he turned it into motivation to excel.
From as early as Standard 8, Darshit had already decided that he wanted to become a Computer Engineer. Computers fascinated him from childhood, and he was naturally drawn towards technology and practical learning.
But his life was not limited to classrooms.
Alongside his studies, Darshit helped his family with thread-cutting work, carried sacks, accompanied his father when he went to sell mangoes, and took up various small responsibilities whenever he could. He also worked in data entry, including field-based work outside the comfort of an office environment, simply because he wanted to contribute to his family and become financially helpful.
These were not glamorous experiences. They were ordinary jobs done during difficult times—but they taught him extraordinary lessons.
He experienced financial limitations closely. He understood the value of every rupee. He saw his family make sacrifices. He saw his siblings give up their own educational opportunities. He experienced rejection, failure, responsibility, and uncertainty much earlier than many people his age.
After completing Standard 10, Darshit chose to pursue a Diploma in Engineering because he was more interested in practical knowledge and hands-on learning than purely theoretical education. During his diploma years, he travelled approximately 35 kilometres every day to Palasana for his studies.
Even after travelling such a distance every day and managing the realities of his family life, he continued to perform exceptionally well and became one of the top students.
He later pursued his Bachelor’s degree at Vidhyadeep University, Kim, travelling daily from home. Once again, he excelled academically.
But perhaps the most important education Darshit received was not from school, college, or textbooks.
It came from his family.
His parents taught him the meaning of sacrifice. His siblings taught him the value of opportunity. His circumstances taught him responsibility. And his struggles taught him that success is not something that simply happens—it is something that has to be earned.
For a long time, Darshit was also someone who thought deeply about everything. His tendency to overthink could have become a weakness, especially during difficult phases of life. But instead of allowing his thoughts and struggles to pull him down, he gradually learned to turn them into fuel.
Rather than allowing difficult experiences to push him into a state of hopelessness, he began looking for a way to give those emotions a direction. Slowly, that direction became writing.
Writing gave him a place to express the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and questions that he carried within himself. What once felt like overthinking gradually became observation. Observation became expression. Expression became writing. And writing eventually became a part of his identity.
The struggles that once seemed like obstacles slowly became the foundation of his journey.
From a child studying in a government school, helping his family with small jobs, travelling long distances for education, and carrying the weight of his family’s sacrifices on his shoulders, Darshit gradually built himself into a Computer Engineer, writer, author, and entrepreneur.
His journey is not simply a story of academic success or career growth.
It is the story of a family that sacrificed together, a son who understood the value of those sacrifices, and a young man who decided that his circumstances would not define his future.
The same struggles that could have become his weakness eventually became the reason he kept moving forward.
Personal life
Family has always been at the heart of Darshit Goti’s life. He deeply respects every member of his family, and over the years, he has become one of its strongest pillars. Today, a significant part of his family’s financial responsibility rests on his shoulders, and he carries that responsibility with maturity, commitment, and love.
For Darshit, supporting his family is not merely a responsibility—it is something he genuinely wants to do.
His parents are at the centre of that feeling. Having grown up watching them struggle and make sacrifices to give their children a better life, Darshit now wants to give them everything they could not experience themselves. He wants his parents to experience the comfort, happiness, and opportunities that life could not always provide them during his childhood.
The sacrifices his parents made to raise him became one of the strongest motivations behind his life. He often feels that if they could give so much to him despite their circumstances, the least he can do is dedicate himself to giving them a life filled with happiness and dignity.
His bond with his siblings is equally deep. Darshit has immense love and respect for his elder sister and younger brother. Their sacrifices hold a special place in his heart because both of them had to compromise on their own education and opportunities in order to support the family and allow Darshit to continue his studies.
That sacrifice is something Darshit has never forgotten.
Even today, a part of him feels that he owes his siblings something. Their educational opportunities were limited compared to his, and he carries that thought deeply within himself. His success is therefore never something he sees as belonging only to him. In many ways, he sees it as the result of a family that sacrificed together.
His Philosophy Towards Life
Darshit believes that life is about continuing to fight, regardless of how difficult the circumstances become.
His philosophy is simple: keep working hard, do your part, and let life do the rest.
He believes that not everything happens according to our plans, but whatever happens can eventually lead us somewhere meaningful. He also believes that if a person experiences only happiness, they may never truly understand the value of happiness. Life needs both its sweet and bitter moments to be fully lived.
For him, no situation is permanent.
Happiness comes with its own time, and so does hardship. Every experience has something to teach, and every phase eventually passes. That belief has helped him remain patient during difficult times and continue moving forward without giving up.
He strongly believes that one should never lose courage simply because life is difficult.
Life Beyond Work
Even in his free time, Darshit rarely stops thinking about ideas.
He enjoys exploring new things, especially ideas that can create practical value. He often thinks about how real-life problems can be solved or simplified through software and technology, how a new idea can be transformed into a useful product, how his startups can grow, or what he can learn from a good book.
For him, curiosity is not limited to his professional life. He enjoys learning, experimenting, thinking, and exploring possibilities.
Give him a room with a laptop, a few books, a pen, and some space to think, and he can spend days there without feeling the need to step outside.
Darshit is naturally comfortable with solitude. He enjoys travelling alone, sitting alone in peaceful places, reading, thinking, and simply spending time with himself. Solitude, for him, is not loneliness—it is where many of his ideas come alive.
Writing — A Different Life
Writing holds a very special place in Darshit’s life.
For him, writing feels like a new life—a space where he can express thoughts that may otherwise remain unspoken. He considers writing a blessing because it gives him something that very few things can: peace of mind.
His journey towards writing also grew from his habit of thinking deeply about life and experiences. Over time, the thoughts that once remained inside his mind found a voice through words.
There is a belief that a writer truly becomes a writer after death—when their words continue to live even when they are no longer there to speak them.
That idea deeply resonates with Darshit.
He hopes that his words will continue to live beyond him and, more importantly, that those words can bring comfort, motivation, or peace to people who may be going through struggles similar to his own.
For him, the greatest value of writing is not simply being called an author. It is knowing that something he writes might help another person feel understood.
His Relationship With Society
Darshit does not allow society’s opinions to control his life.
He believes that people will always have something to say. If you do something good, there will still be criticism. If you make a mistake, there will be criticism again. Therefore, living solely to satisfy other people can eventually mean sacrificing your own happiness.
His belief is straightforward: if something is right for you, helps you grow, and does not compromise your values, you should have the courage to pursue it.
He respects traditions and social values, but he does not believe that traditions should become barriers to personal growth.
For Darshit, you should never make yourself unhappy simply to keep everyone else happy.
A Simple Lifestyle
Despite his ambitions and achievements, Darshit continues to prefer a simple lifestyle.
He believes that no matter how successful a person becomes, they should never forget where they came from.
His past is not something he wants to hide or leave behind. It is the foundation of who he is today.
He strongly believes that tomorrow should always be better than yesterday—not necessarily in terms of money or status, but in terms of learning, growth, character, and contribution.
That belief keeps him grounded.
His Vision for the Future
Darshit certainly wants to fulfil every dream his family has carried for him. Giving his parents the happiness they deserve and making his family proud will always remain an important part of his journey.
But that is not his biggest dream.
His larger vision is to become someone who can be useful to other people in some way—through technology, writing, entrepreneurship, knowledge, or simply by helping someone find a better path.
He does not want his success to end with himself.
He wants whatever he builds, learns, or creates to become useful to others.
At the core of Darshit’s future vision is one simple thought:
If his journey can make someone else’s journey even a little easier, his success will have meaning.
Hard years
Darshit Goti’s early years were far from easy. Growing up in a financially struggling middle-class family, he understood the value of money, education, and opportunity at a very young age. While other children were focused mainly on school and childhood, Darshit was also helping his family wherever he could.
His father worked as a diamond broker and his mother contributed to the family through thread-cutting work from home. Darshit also helped with thread cutting, carried sacks, accompanied his father to sell mangoes, and took up data-entry and field jobs while continuing his studies. These experiences exposed him to the realities of financial struggle much earlier than most people his age.
One of the hardest parts of his journey was knowing that his elder sister and younger brother had to sacrifice their own education because of the family’s circumstances. Their sacrifices gave Darshit the opportunity to continue studying, but they also left him with a deep sense of responsibility. He knew that he could not afford to waste the opportunity his family had fought to give him.
Education itself was another challenge. After school, he travelled around 35 kilometres every day to Palasana for his diploma. Later, he travelled daily to Kim for his Bachelor’s degree. Long journeys, financial limitations, family responsibilities, and academic pressure became a normal part of his life.
There were also periods when his constant thinking and emotional struggles became difficult to handle. But instead of allowing those experiences to define him, Darshit gradually learned to turn them into strength. His overthinking became observation, his observations became words, and those words eventually became writing.
The hard years did not make his journey easier they made him stronger.
They taught him that circumstances can delay your journey, but they do not have to decide its destination. The struggles he once wished he could escape eventually became some of the biggest reasons behind his determination, discipline, and ambition.
His hardest years became the foundation of the person he is today.
Inspiration
Darshit Goti’s greatest inspiration has always been his parents. Watching them work hard, make sacrifices, and continue moving forward despite difficult circumstances taught him the true meaning of perseverance.
His mother, Hansaben, inspired him through her simplicity, kindness, and silent sacrifices, while his father, Dineshbhai Goti, taught him the value of hard work, responsibility, and never giving up.
His elder sister and younger brother are another important source of inspiration. Their sacrifices, especially giving up their own educational opportunities so Darshit could continue studying, became a responsibility that pushed him to work harder.
Beyond his family, Darshit draws inspiration from struggles, real-life experiences, books, technology, and people who continue to grow despite difficult circumstances.
For him, inspiration is not always found in famous personalities. Sometimes, it is found in the people who quietly sacrifice, keep working, and continue believing in a better tomorrow.
His biggest inspiration is simple: to become someone his family can be proud of and someone whose journey can inspire others to never give up.
